This is my first one with a touch of water colour

This is my second little etching plate made from a drawing of stones which I collected while taking Biffo,  Robin's dog to paddle. Robin McKidd was a wonderful folk musician who died in 2016.

I have been drawing stones from the beach where I live which is a little fishing village in Fife called Crail. After I draw them I make an etching plate which I can print. I have just printed one so far in black and white, but I am going to add colour soon. They may become more abstract as I go on but I am fascinated by the real details of them and find art in every little centimetre just the way they are! This is printed on white paper - sorry - it looks blue! Think I might go over the top with pale colours - it looks quite nice - but imagine this black and white for the time being.
